Stacey is the founder of Fair Fight Action, Fair Count, and the Southern Economic Advancement Project (SEAP).
Fair Fight is a Georgia-based organization that fights for free and fair elections.
The Southern Economic Advancement Project (SEAP) amplifies the efforts of existing organizations and networks that work towards broadening economic power and building a more equitable future.
Fair Count is a Georgia-based nonprofit that works to build long-term power in communities that have been historically undercounted in the decennial census, underrepresented at the polls, and whose communities are often torn apart in redistricting.
Stacey is Howard University’s inaugural Ronald W. Walters Endowed Chair for Race and Black Politics. In her role, Stacey has helped foster interdisciplinary collaboration and expanded research on the impact of race on politics and policy across the university.
Stacey also advances advocacy as a member of the Board of Directors for several nonprofits, including the National Democratic Institute, the Marguerite Casey Foundation, the LBJ Foundation, and the Atlanta Metropolitan State College Foundation.
